A São Vicente house, facing the sea
Calamar sits in the village of São Vicente, right in front of the north-coast sea. We cook with what the island and the Atlantic give us: octopus, black scabbard fish, limpets, seafood and grilled meats, with Madeiran recipes and a few touches of our own.
The dining room is warm and the terrace is large, looking out over the ocean. It works as well for a quick lunch as for a family dinner or a celebration.

The restaurant is open every day from 12:00 to 21:30. The Beach Club, our pool bar, is open every day from 9:00 to 23:00.

What kind of food do you serve?

Do you have a sea-view terrace?
Yes. Our large terrace faces the Atlantic Ocean, for lunch and dinner.
Are there vegetarian options?
Yes: vegetable soup, mushrooms sautéed with garlic, mushroom risotto, vegetarian pizza and several salads.
What is the Beach Club?
It is Calamar's pool bar, serving quicker food: sharing boards, tapas, francesinha, sandwiches in bolo do caco, salads and our own pizzeria.
